Shipping policy
We ship nationwide within New Zealand.
Standard sized shipping nationwide within NZ is $9.50 for all orders under $99. We send using a NO Signature service, if you require a signature, please specify this in the notes at checkout. This shipping charge includes rural delivery & shipping to Waiheke Island.
We offer FREE shipping on all orders over $99 (excluding oversized items which incur a surcharge).
If you have any delivery instructions, such as where to leave your parcel, please add a note at checkout and this will automatically be added to the shipping instructions for the courier - if you forget to do this, please get in touch with us soon after placing your order so that we can add this for you.
We reserve the right to combine multiple orders, regardless of whether you have paid for multiple lots of shipping or not - this is to ensure less waste & less impact on the environment. If you want to add items to your already placed order, please get in touch and we will see if this is possible if your order hasn't already been dispatched.
Oversized Items
Oversized items do incur a surcharge as these unfortunately are quite costly for us to ship. We ship all orders via our courier partners - Courier Post/NZ Post, PBT and Post Haste. Oversized items are more likely to be shipped with PBT or Post Haste and can take 2-3 days to be delivered. Please allow additional time for oversized items as these are sourced from our warehouse so can take a little longer to dispatch than our standard parcels.
Smaller Oversized Items incur a $15 surcharge for North Island deliveries and a $20 surcharge for South Island deliveries.
Larger Oversized Items incur a $25 surcharge for North Island deliveries and a $30 surcharge for South Island deliveries.
All tracking information and links will be automatically sent to you once your order has been dispatched.
Time Frames for shipping
We aim to ship most orders same day if ordered before 12pm, this excludes oversized items. Sometimes this isn’t possible during sale periods or busy periods. If your order is urgent, please send us an email or message so that we can prioritise this. All orders will be shipped within 48 hours [on business days] unless otherwise specified. Pre Order items will be shipped within the allocated time frame, any delays will be notified to you. We do not ship orders out on weekends or public holidays. All orders are sent via tracked courier, and we expect your order to arrive mostly overnight - or within 2-5 days for rural, oversized and South Island deliveries.
Unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any shipping delays - Our delivery targets are given to us by our Courier partners and delays are unfortunately out of our control. Please use the tracking provided to get regular updates on your parcel's progress. We also cannot guarantee Saturday delivery of your items.
Local Pickup
If you live locally in Thames, NZ and would like to collect your parcel, please select local pick up at checkout. Pick up is from our store in central Thames. Pick ups are available same day providing the product is in stock and your order is collected prior to our closing time.
Our store is located at 452 Pollen Street, Thames and is open 9am-3pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12pm Saturdays. We are closed all public holidays.
Sustainable Packaging
We are committed to sustainability and will always use earth-friendly packaging. Where possible, we will use recycled packaging to send your parcels - so we apologise if it isn't the prettiest looking box. All packaging that we use is either recyclable or home-compostable. Our mailers are all soft plastic recyclable or home compostable. Our cardboard mailers and boxes can be recycled in your curbside recycling bin, and our plastic mailers can be recycled with your soft plastics. Any bubble wrap used in our packaging is recycled & reused from packages that have arrived to us and we ask that you please reuse this yourself, too.
Gift Wrapping
Gift wrapping is available at checkout, and eco-friendly packaging is used for this. We use Kraft paper, FSC certified tissue paper & twine to wrap your parcels to ensure the packaging is recyclable & also neutral so can be used for any occasion. If appropriate and the products fit, we will also use one of our Mom branded gift boxes. We can also write a gift note for you, please add the note to the box in the cart.
